Back on June 30 of this year, a woman crashed into the emergency room doors of Piedmont Hospital. The hospital is located on Peachtree Road in Buckhead, Georgia. At the time of the accident, a woman was standing outside the emergency room. She was mowed down, as were several other people.

According to reports, a 75-year old woman was traveling toward the emergency room entrance. She started to speed up, lost control of her car and crashed through the doors and into Piedmont Hospital. The crash ended up killing one victim and injuring four (4) others. One of the people injured in the accident was 29-year old Kai Bailey of Atlanta.

Now that more than six weeks have passed, Bailey wants to know why there has been no official report filed for the crash. The police said the women lost control of her car. They also confirmed that alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.

The victim is upset because nothing has been done to help her. She ended up breaking both of her hips and her pelvis in the accident. She spent over a month in the hospital and will need to go to rehab as well. Her attorney is demanding to know why the woman hasn’t been held accountable for the accident.

Now, Bailey and the other victims are considering filing suit against the hospital. They claim that, had there been barriers in place, they would not have been injured in the first place. The name of the person killed in the accident has not yet been released.
